Celebrate Chinese New Year This February Half Term

Join us at Pinetum Gardens this February half term for a day full of fun and activities to help celebrate the Chinese New Year.

Plymouth Chinese School will be delivering family workshops throughout the day to celebrate Chinese culture through four exciting activities.

We will be hosting this event in our unenclosed barn, so please ensure that you all wrap up warm as it is rather cold this time of year.

Schedule of Events:
10.30 – 11.30
Table One: Chinese Painting, led by Jing
Table Two: Chinese Characters and Numbers, led by Elizabeth

11.35 – 12.35:
Table One: Chinese Tea Ceremony & Wellbeing, led by Xiaomin
Table Two: Chinese Paper Cutting, led by Mrs Zhao

Please be advised that each workshop can hold a maximum of 15 children, so it is important for you to arrive early to secure your space! You will be able to purchase refreshments in our tea room which is open from 10:00 till 16:00 with last food orders at 15:00

Garden Entry + Activity Prices:

Adults (17+): £10
Seniors (60+): £9
Children under 11 go free (2 per paying adult)
Young Adults (11-17): £5
Family (2 adults and 3x young adults): £25

Note: if you’re a current member then you will be able to access the activities as part of your membership.
